Artificial Grass Installation FAQs
Artificial turf pricing usually costs anywhere between $5-$10 per square foot depending on the purpose and availability of the material, as well as the difficulty of the installation. However, pricing the project as a whole rather than by the square foot is preferably, since many homeowners will also want design changes to their yards and their new turf will be just a part of that.
The good news is that we can help with it all, from design to installation.
Our no-charge on-site consultation consists of three steps.
- We call you to schedule an appointment. Not all visits will require you to be there if you do not wish to be.
- We send a qualified technician who will be able to access the needs of your installation and design project.
- After our in-person trip to your location we’ll be able to furnish you with a price – sometimes while we’re still on-location!
At this point it’s up to you whether you’d like to have us perform the work or not. But either way, the visit was free.
Before work can begin the design must be completed. Once the materials are decided on the proper amount can be ordered. As of 2022, supply issues can delay progress more than usual, and the availability of materials is unpredictable.
While the materials are being prepared we’ll prepare the ground. The area the artificial grass will be installed in has to be properly grated, smoothed, and leveled. After that the installation is actually fairly quick and rapid progress can be made.
Artificial turf or ‘fake grass’ saves you almost all the normal headache and cost associated with a traditional lawn. This means you’ll save time and money on mowing, fertilizing, seeding, watering, and weeding. Over the life of the artificial grass the savings will add up and greatly or completely offset the initial cost.
